Faith Goring-Britton NP PC



Faith Goring Britton is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Pediatric Neurology. She is also a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry with a subspecialty in child and adolescent neuropsychiatry. She has over 3 decades of experience working with pediatric patients and their families.
Faith Goring-Britton graduated with a BSN degree from Barton College, Wilson North Carolina. She later went on to graduate with honors from Dominican College with a MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She worked in the field of family practice specializing in Pediatric Neurology. While employed in Pediatric Neurology she obtained her Post Masters from Arizona State University as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and later specialized in children with neuropsychiatric disorders. For the next several years she was employed in the Emergency as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner where she worked with all ages providing evaluation and treatment for an acute and chronic psychiatrically impaired patient population.
Faith Goring Britton now functions autonomously as guided by a functional statement/scope of practice and collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary Mental Health treatment team to manage children and adolescents diagnosed with a serious and persistent and often intractable mental illness. She is ANCC Board Certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatry/ Mental Health across the Lifespan. She is licensed and practices in the State of New York.
